YouTube will remove dislike count from all videos
The test to remove the dislike button from the video has apparently been successful. This change is going to come in the case of all the videos on YouTube. Dislike Count will soon be removed by the largest video sharing platform. News Engadget.
However, there will be a dislike button at the bottom of the video. Also, the video publisher can see the count of this dislike button. Even if you can dislike it, only the viewers will not be able to see the number of dislikes in the video.
Many people decide whether to watch the video by looking at the number of likes or dislikes. Many a times new and small creators fall prey to dislike campaigns. Viewers don't realize it, and content creators suffer.
YouTube says removing the dislike count will reduce harassment. This will increase the chances of video makers succeeding and they will feel safe.
